John currently serves as the CEO of Applied Financial Solutions, LLC (AFS), a leading consultancy based in New York’s iconic Chrysler Building. Under his leadership since 2015, AFS has delivered cutting-edge solutions tailored to the diverse needs of financial services clients worldwide. By partnering with top-tier suppliers, AFS provides customized, multi-asset-class e-service platforms designed to maximize operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
John’s extensive career includes pivotal roles that have shaped the evolution of global trading systems. As Managing Director of Trading & Risk Management at First Derivatives, he led advancements in trading platform technology across the globe. During his tenure at Cognotec as Global Head of Trading Solutions, he oversaw the design and implementation of trading systems for more than 100 banks worldwide. Additionally, John co-founded and served as Global Head of Sales & Marketing at EBS, where he played a transformative role in institutional trading by enabling billions in daily FX trading volume and significantly influencing the market.
